Hi, I'm new and having a bit of confusion concerning these things.....
1. We don't have to put our designs on a product for them to be shown for sale?
If you sell a product without your design, then you are selling a blank shirt. If you want to sell a blank shirt, that is up to you, but yes, we let you sell a blank shirt.
2. Once a design is uploaded to our store, it is automatically put out in the market place?
Yes, the default setting for a newly created product is "PUBLIC" and "FOR SALE". A Couple years ago the default was "PUBLIC" and "NOT FOR SALE" and we found that so many people were simply forgetting to make their products active after setting them up, that we decided to change the defaults.
3. Do we set the commission rate, or is that done automatically?
You set the "MARK-UP" which is not a commission. You actually see what your wholesale price is, and decide how much the product should sell for above your wholesale cost. It is not done automatically, you have to set this yourself.
4. When entering tags, or keywords, do we need to put a comma between them or put quotation marks around key phrases?
You can use commas or spaces, do not use quotes. We suggest spaces because it looks nicer on the screen.
