While the new upload utility (Nov. 2008) makes uploading many designs easier, it has had one detrimental effect. Titles are added to designs at the time of upload, but descriptions are not. Many store owners are failing to give their uploaded products descriptions.

Failing to give a product description will always result in your product being ranked lower in customer searches. The keywords in your description are a key element in determining relevancy in a customers search! Don't forget to add product description.

Here is how:
1. From the MANAGE STORES page, click on the MANAGE DESIGNS button under one of your stores.
2. Choose one of your designs (one row on the MANAGE DESIGNS page). Under the ACTION column, select EDIT from the dropdown, and press the GO button on the same row.
3. Enter accurate, concise (enough, but not too many) description in the Description field. As you type a keyword aid will appear. This box will remove simple and duplicate words, You should have approximately 6-12 keywords in this box by the time you are done describing your product.

That is all! Now your product is much more likely to be seen by customers.
